Why does the RSVP ask for my email and phone?

So the couple can reach you with updates about the celebration — a venue change, shuttle times, and the like. It’s only used for their wedding.

Can both of us manage the wedding?

Yes. A wedding account is meant for both partners, and you’ll be able to invite a wedding planner too.
